This quote beautifully captures change from two perspectives: It highlights the fact that you need to be prepared to make changes yourself, but at the same time can also be interpreted as the need of being prepared for changes that will happen to you. I believe this mirrors a similarity in the financial industry where financial institutions initiate a lot of changes themselves, but are also subject to a changing environment and regulations.
In the financial sector, my focus is around regulatory technology (RegTech), the application of Gen-AI, regulatory change, and programme support. I like to achieve results in a team effort, co-creating with stakeholders to maximize value. Deep diving and understanding a particular topic is where I thrive, but have a pragmatic, multidisciplinary and structured approach when facing the challenges at hand. With a background in Information Management and experience with AI, RegTech, Data and Business Intelligence, I often take a tech-savvy approach towards solutions.
Outside of work I like to stay active through walking, hiking, the gym or occasional bouldering. When it is time to wind down, I prefer to play some card- and boardgames with a small group friends or just a good conversation.
