“THE ART OF PROGRESS IS TO PRESERVE ORDER AMID CHANGE AND TO PRESERVE CHANGE AMID ORDER” – Alfred North Whitehead

More about Marijke

I work at the intersection of structure and change, where ambitious sustainability goals meet regulatory complexity. With nearly ten years of experience in sustainable strategy and advisory, at ACE I help financial institutions navigate complex regulatory environments by translating long-term sustainability ambitions into actionable, compliant strategies.

My background in economics and corporate innovation at a large financial institution gives me a practical understanding of how the private sector drives meaningful change, and how regulatory shifts can become catalysts for strategic progress.

I am energized by turning complexity into momentum. I enjoy addressing multidimensional sustainability challenges and creating the focus, collaboration, and structure needed to deliver real progress.

Outside of work, I’m most at peace in the kitchen or in nature, especially when I can bring my toddler along for the adventure.
