People tend to view change as something negative in the first instance and rather avoid it. True, it forces us out of our comfort zone once in a while. But that’s actually a good thing! Change is a normal and constant part of our life, so we better embrace it and seize the opportunities that come with it.
For me, regulatory change is far more than just a tick the box excersise. It’s a way to evolve and improve the business. At ACE, I want to help our clients to see regulatory change as a fantastic chance to make things better and drive business into the future.
In my previous roles I had the opportunity to participate in regulatory change projects in the non-financial risk area from all kinds of angles end-to-end: from going through new regulation and assessing the impact on existing processes, over implementing the changes to the business processes and supervising the IT implementation to training users and establishing the required monitoring and controlling frameworks.
I have a master’s degree in Economics and Political Science and came from Switzerland to the Netherlands in May 2022 to live with my partner. In my free time I enjoy baking (especially cup cakes) and reading (mostly about History or Fantasy). I also love to hike, preferably in the mountains, on the beaches or in the forest.
