Change is everywhere at any time. But above all, change is necessary for improvement. Choosing change from a standstill can be a huge challenge; it’s amazingly tricky to get started. But once we are moving, change becomes a catalyst for opportunity. Finding a modus operandi where you can reap the benefits of continuous change while staying in control is an interesting journey, both personally and professionally.
At ACE I contribute to preparing the financial sector for upcoming sustainability challenges. Since Paris 2015, the financial sector has become much more aware of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors. In the coming years, however, a deluge of climate-related regulations will emerge from the European Commission’s regulatory pipeline. The result is an overwhelming number of laws, regulations, obligations, methods, etc. Helping clients navigate their changing environment is a challenge for me that gives me great satisfaction.
When the day is over I like to go cycling, photograph, make / listen to music, or start a new project. I get a lot of energy from development: I always try to do things better or differently than the day before.
