I feel at home in large and complex organisations because of my constant curiosity fuelled by new and unknown things. I am energised by making cross-connections, proactively seeking collaboration and creating support by involving others on the solution path to the strategic goal.
Due to the external pressure from regulators and (technological) competitors, financial institutions cannot escape transformation programmes, the ultimate aim being for these changes to take effect in the Business As Usual chain. This requires different capabilities of organisations, teams and individuals such as self-management concerning planning and managing dependencies with other teams. Because the consultancy field is dynamic by nature in our daily work with clients, I think it is important to work systematically and meticulously to add structure. This helps us to achieve visible results faster and to transfer knowledge and capabilities to customers.
In my spare time I do a lot of cooking. For me, food is a common denominator that brings people together. With my completed chef’s training and 10 years of experience in fine-dining, I enjoy devising menus for large parties of guests, shopping for fresh groceries myself, and to surprise these guests with various simple dishes in which structure, colour and taste are in balance.
