In the 19th century, Darwin had already established that organisms who best adapt to their environment manage to survive. This concept also applies to organisations that have to adapt to new technology, laws, regulations and economic changes.
In order to comply with new laws and regulations, ACE supports financial institutions on a strategic level in designing and implementing sustainable (technical) solutions. Together with the client, we examine new requirements, the client’s current capability, and how financial institutions are compliant with new laws and regulations, and by incorporating this into the organisation.
The complexity of the pressure from regulators with new legislation and regulations and how this is incorporated in financial institutions on the levels of organisation, policy and processing poses a great challenge. It energises me to implement this within the organisation in a structural manner, both in the field of detailed management and the orchestration of programmes at a strategic level.
My strength lies in connecting multidisciplinary teams across different departments of the client and simplifying complex problems, so that we can work on a concrete and sustainable solution, step by step. Thanks to both my substantive knowledge of new legislation and regulations and experience in strategic implementation and data management, I am able to connect multiple areas of the organisation and make the translation for BoD to lower management.
My focus area is mainly in banking, the field in which I have worked for several years on different projects with roles such as data analyst, business analyst, project lead and project manager.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, making and listening to music, city trips, (mountain) climbing and spending time with friends and family.
