Anneke Kikkert

Analytical. Inquisitive. Pragmatic.

”Find joy in everything you choose to do. Every job, relationship, home… it’s your responsibility to love it, or change it.” – Chuck Palahniuk

One of the main drivers in my daily work is to see colleagues across the value chain connect, and collaborate in realizing sustainable change. I enjoy the complexity of large projects and environments, to identify the structure and interdependencies, and to challenge and empower people to actively improve their ways of working.

At ACE, we’re working with a diverse team with different backgrounds. I’ve graduated in cognitive neuroscience and did a traineeship in change management after my studies. Perhaps an unusual choice, but the knowledge and experiences gained then, much improved my understanding of decision making and the impact of change on both the individual and the organization, which I can apply daily in my work at ACE and the client.

It wouldn’t be fair to challenge others but not myself. If not at work, I particularly enjoy being out on the water for some competitive sailing. Although results definitely count, it’s even more important to have fun with a great team! When I’m not sailing, I’m likely to be found outdoors with friends, making music, or up on a wall in the boulder hall.
